How we work

What you can expect, with no surprises

The first contact is brief and free: we check that there is no conflict of interest and arrange the consultation through the method and at the time you tell us are safe.

  1. You tell us the basics

A short form, a call, a text, or WhatsApp. Don't include sensitive details. We'll talk about those if we schedule a consultation.

  2. We contact you safely

When and how you say. That first contact is not legal advice and creates no obligation.

  3. Legal consultation

We arrive having reviewed your information. Workable options and fees in writing. You decide at your own pace.

$125Cost of the legal consultation. Requesting guidance or attending the consultation does not oblige you to hire us.

How we treat you

We practice law with a trauma-informed approach: we understand how violence affects memory, communication, and decision-making. That is why we weigh options, explain the process, and respect your pace and your decisions.

What you should know

  • The first contact is free
  • You choose how and when we talk
  • Nothing you share is used for marketing or shared with third parties
  • You can stop at any point, with no explanation needed

Payment methods

  • Cash
  • ATH Móvil Business
  • PayPal
  • Credit and debit card
  • E-check
  • Financing through LawPay Pay Later (subject to approval independent of Equitas)

Payment plans

We know a legal process arrives without asking whether you have the money for it. We offer payment plans; the terms are agreed with you and put in writing in the services agreement.
